Medical Adhesive-Related Skin Injury
Adhesives may stick to the skin more strongly than the top layer of skin adheres to the skin layers below it. This places the skin at risk for injury when adhesives attached to the skin are removed. Adhesive removal can result in the top layer of skin being pulled off along with the bandage.
The resulting skin injury can decrease skin-barrier function. The skin is our protection from germs we encounter in the world.

Nurse Angele's Wipes are non- toxic
There is a risk of absorption and toxicity of topical substances.
Avoid using other topical products that may be absorbed through the skin and cause toxicity. For example, toxicity can result from systemic absorption of alcohol from topical products.
Our coconut residue will not harm children or pets who ingest it. Our wipes are safe for wound care. They are antimicrobial. There is no need to wash the coconut oil off.

We can help when it comes to removing the bandages without tears! Our Nurse Angele's Wipes will wipe those bandages right off! For porous bandages, first wipe the surface of the bandage with the wipe, making sure too coat it generously with the coconut oil. Next, pull up a corner of the bandage and continuously wipe the bandage/skin interface as you gently pull up on the bandage.

Take off the bandage, not the fur! DissolVet is 100% non-toxic. If the pet licks the area after the bandage is removed, no worries. It won't harm them. There is no need to wash the residual coconut oil off of the fur.
